Rio Serrano : riding : Lago Brush

6-8 hours

Leaving early from the campsite we follow the Rio Serrano passing many interesting areas such as the meeting point of the Rio Serrano and Rio Grey, the Rio Nutria, Salto falls and ancient hawthorn forests.

After approximately one hour we start heading south into an area rarely visited. We follow a trail through woodlands, glimpsing some spectacular views of the mountains to the north. The chance of seeing anyone in this area is extremely rare.

The ride is exciting in parts, but should not put non-riders off as the ride is tailored so that even the most inexperienced rider will feel safe and at ease.

This spectacular ride ends on the shore of Lago Brush – a lakeside paradise that we have all to ourselves when we stop for lunch.

After lunch we head back, with plenty of opportunities for photos and for those more experienced riders, lots of areas for cantering through open pampas areas.

From the Rio Serrano campsite you can arrange for transport to all the areas of interest in the Torres del Paine National Park.
